Suzuki has enhanced power and performance by incorporating larger displacements, while their Lean Control System ensures better fuel economy with more compact and lighter designs compared to previous models. The DF40 engines also come equipped with the Suzuki Troll Mode System. Recognizing their innovation, the Boating Writers of America honored Suzuki Marine with the NMMA Innovation Award for the DF40A/DF50A at the 2011 Miami Boat Show.
